Welcome to PowerXpress, the website and online service of SrvIT Pty Ltd ABN 78 666 443 401 trading as PowerXpress (“PowerXpress”, “we”, “us” or “our”). PowerXpress offers solar and battery solutions for off-grid, remote locations, tiny homes and camping trailers.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website or services. These terms and conditions apply to all users of our website and services, including visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or services. By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you must not access or use our website or services.

We provide solar and battery solutions for various applications, such as off-grid, remote locations, tiny homes and camping trailers. We design, install, and maintain solar and battery systems that suit your needs and budget. We also provide information, advice, and support on solar and battery products and technologies.

To access or use our website or services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. You must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations when accessing or using our website or services.

To use some features of our website or services, you may need to create an account and provide some personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and address. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account and password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account or password. You must not share your account or password with anyone else, or use anyone else’s account or password without their permission.

When you place an order for our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, and to pay the applicable fees and charges for the services. You also agree to accept our quote and installation agreement, which will be sent to you after we receive your order. The quote and installation agreement will contain the details of the services, such as the system design, equipment, price, install date, warranty, and other terms & conditions.

You can pay for the services using the payment methods we accept, such as bank transfer, credit card, or cash. You must pay the deposit amount specified in the quote and installation agreement before we start the installation of the system. You must pay the balance amount after we finish the installation and commissioning of the system. You must pay all fees and charges in full and on time, without any deduction or set-off. If you fail to pay any fees or charges, we may suspend or terminate the services, and charge you interest and costs.

You can cancel your order and request a refund of the deposit within 10 business days after you accept the quote and installation agreement, unless we have already started the build of your product(s). To cancel your order and request a refund, you must notify us in writing by email or post. We will process your refund within 10 business days after we receive your cancellation notice.

If you cancel your order after 10 business days, or after we have started the installation of the system, you will not be entitled to a refund of the deposit, and you may be liable for additional fees and charges, such as the cost of the equipment, labour, and administration.

We may cancel your order and refund your deposit if we are unable to provide the services due to reasons beyond our control, such as unavailability of the equipment, adverse weather conditions, or grid connection approval issues. We will notify you in writing by email or post if we cancel your order and refund your deposit.

We warrant that the services will be performed with due care and skill, and that the system will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period specified in the quote and installation agreement. The warranty does not cover any damage or defect caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, storm, lightning, power surge, or any other event or circumstance beyond our control. The warranty also does not cover any damage or defect caused by improper installation, modification, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than us or our authorized agents.

To make a warranty claim, you must notify us in writing by email or post within the warranty period, and provide proof of purchase and details of the defect. We will inspect the system and determine whether the defect is covered by the warranty. If the defect is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part or component at our discretion and cost. If the defect is not covered by the warranty, we will provide you with a quote for the repair or replacement, and you will be responsible for the cost.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any breach of this agreement, or any warranty, guarantee, or consumer right implied by law, is limited to one or more of the following, at our option: the resupply of the services; the repair or replacement of the system or part of it; or the payment of the cost of resupplying the services, or repairing or replacing the system or part of it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or in connection with this agreement, the website, the services, or the system, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We own or have the right to use all intellectual property rights in the website, the services, and the system, including but not limited to the design, layout, content, images, logos, trademarks, and trade names. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on our website. By accessing or using our website or services, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and storage of your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

You agree to access and use our website and services in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner. You must not:

•  access or use our website or services for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;

•  interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of our website or services, or any network, system, or device connected to them;

You may terminate this agreement and your access and use of our website and services at any time, by notifying us in writing by email or post, and by deleting your account and ceasing to access or use our website and services. Upon termination of this agreement, you must pay us any outstanding fees and charges, and we will refund you any prepaid fees and charges, subject to our cancellation and refund policy. Termination of this agreement will not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued before the termination.

If you have any complaint or dispute with us, you should first contact us and try to resolve the issue informally and amicably. If we are unable to resolve the issue within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation by a mediator appointed.

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By purchasing an item from PowerXpress , you agree to all terms and conditions of warranty below. PowerXpress registered business address and Head Office located at: 43 Brougham Ave, Fennell Bay, NSW, 2283.

Trailer Limited Warranty

PowerXpress guarantees the original retail buyer that this product is free from material and workmanship defects during normal usage and maintenance for the duration of the applicable warranty period, starting from the date of retail purchase. This Warranty may not be transferred to any subsequent purchaser of this PowerXpress product from coverage, and other limitations apply, as described in this document.

PowerXpress Warranty provides standard business hour coverage for products with a “return-to-base” policy, where defective product will be diagnosed and repaired or replaced per that products warranty terms; For failing product(s) or item(s) purchased from PowerXpress PowerXpress will repair or replace at its discretion, any defective product or part covered by the Limited Warranty, free of charge at any authorised replacement parts, subject to the limitations and exclusions described below.

WARRANTY TERMS FOR “OPTIONS”:

  • LiFePo4 Battery Warranty                                                                                                                                                                                                              The 5Kwh and 10Kwh LiFePo4 batteries come with a 10-year warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
  • Solar Panel Warranty
     The solar panels included with the Product are covered by a 12-year warranty for material and workmanship defects and a 25-year warranty for performance, ensuring that the panels will produce at least 80% of the rated power output by the end of the warranty period.
  • Solar Inverter Warranty
     The 48v DC Solar Inverter provided with the Product is covered by a 5-year warranty. This warranty includes coverage for defects in materials and workmanship under normal operational conditions.
  • Actuator-Lifts and Slide Rails Warranty
     Actuator-lifts and slide rails are warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • Appliance Warranty
     The fridge, hot plate, shower, and other included appliances are covered by a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

General Conditions:

    • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.

    • The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, modifications, unauthorized repairs, or other causes not arising from defects in material or workmanship.

    • To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact customer service and provide proof of purchase.

    • The manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace the defective part with a part that is of equal or greater value.

Please note that these terms are subject to the laws and regulations governing consumer products and warranties in Australia.

PowerXpress does not offer an over the counter exchange program.

Disclaimers, limitations and exclusions:

1. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY POWERXPRESS  AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF, EXCEPT AS MAY BE PROVIDED BY AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW. THIS WARRANTY IS GIVEN ONLY BY POWERXPRESS , AND MAY BE MODIFIED ONLY BY POWERXPRESS . THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE FINAL EXPRESSION OF OUR AGREEMENT, AND IS A COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE TERMS OF THAT AGREEMENT. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW.

For solar trailers and camper trailers the warranty period is 12 months except for PowerXpress solar trailers and camper trailer’s draw bar and chassis which are covered by a lifetime structural warranty for fatigue only.

2. LIMITED DURATION. ANY WARRANTY THAT MAY BE IMPLIED BY LAW (INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY) IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

3. CERTAIN OTHER COMPONENTS ARE NOT COVERED. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

Expendable Parts. This limited warranty does not cover general maintenance parts and items (“Expendable Parts”), including without limitation wheel bearings, bulbs, filters, tires, hoses.
